WBFBetween November 9 and 12, 2009, Bucharest will host one of the most relevant events in the international online community, by bringing together famous bloggers from around the world in order to discuss on themes ranging from the influence and importance of blogs in civil society and governmental institutions, to new media, freedom of expression and global politics.

The event will take place at The House of Parliament and is supported by The Agency for Governmental Strategies, under the patronage of the Romanian Ministry of Communications and Informational Society and The Chamber of Deputies.

Participants will include key figures from over 30 countries, such as USA, Canada, Great Britain, Japan, China, France, Germany, Egypt and the Netherlands.

This event is at its first edition, and represents itself the institutionalization of blogging as a new type of journalism at an international level.
