SCORM stands for Sharable Content Object Reference Model which represents a collection of specifications for web-based e-learning. SCORM standards are being governed and published by the Advanced Distributed Learning Initiative (ADL). The SCORM goals are to allow interoperability, accessibility and reusability of web-based learning content for academia, industry and government.
